  • Cebuana Lhuillier – Pumunta sa nearest Cebuana Lhuilller branch, present 1 valid ID, reference #, and fill-up a Cebuana Lhuillier form.

You may opt for a lower amount but you cannot apply for a higher loan amount.

After signing your Cash Loan contract, you will receive an SMS notification informing you the date you may claim your loan.

As of now, we only accept client’s bank account number as a medium for cash disbursement (Cash Transfer).

The bank account number for disbursement cannot be changed once the contract is sent to evaluation. You must cancel your Cash Loan contract and re-apply for a new one with your new bank account number.

Yes, but you can only re-apply 3 months after and if you still have an existing Cash Loan offer from Home Credit.

No, but if you pay in advance, you may benefit from interest re-calculation through the form of Full Early Repayment (FER) and Partial Early Repayment (PER).

You will just have to pay the loan amount with no interest or fee.

Just like the regular consumer loan, you may pay in all 7-11 branches, any payment center with ECPAY or Bayad Center logos, SM Malls, M.Lhuillier, Cebuana Lhuillier and RCBC Commercial Banks through cash, online banking and ATM transactions.

Below are the fees for delayed payments:

  • Collection Charge: Php 200
  • Past Due 30 days: Php 400
  • Past Due 60 days: Php 600

Yes, you can still pay your monthly installment thru our payment channel partners even if you are enrolled to ADA. Please make sure to pay the exact amount of your installment before the debiting date to make sure that we will not deduct any amount from your bank account.

Home Credit does not sell insurance to its customers. As an added service, customers may avail of various protection services when they apply for a loan.

What is Borrower Protection Plan? Borrower Protection Plan (BPP) is one of HCPH’s Value Added Services. It protects customers and their family members in case of death, hospitalization, accidental death and dismemberment, and accidental medical reimbursement.

The insurance provider of Home Credit is Sun Life Grepa Financial, Inc.

Customers who get a loan with Home Credit and are between the ages of 18-68 years old are qualified to avail BPP.
You just need to apply for a Home Credit loan and present 2 valid IDs as required for the loan.
While Home Credit is the policy holder, it is the Home Credit customer who shall be covered by BPP. In the event of a valid claim, BPP will pay for the unpaid balance of the loan while the remaining proceeds of the claim will be paid to the nominated beneficiary of the customer.
Home Credit is automatically the BPP beneficiary. Customers can then nominate one family member on the first degree on consanguinity (i.e. parents, spouse, or children) as their beneficiary. Sun Life has the discretion to decline a claim if the relationship of the customer with her nominated beneficiary cannot be established.

There is no age requirement to qualify as a beneficiary.

It’s still best to nominate a beneficiary who’s a family member on the first degree of consanguinity for easier processing. For very special cases, others may be nominated provided that the necessary proof of relationship is submitted and verified especially during a claim.

Death, Hospitalization, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and Accidental Medical Reimbursement are covered by BPP.

BPP coverage has improved through the years.  A Customer who has availed of insurance previously may have a different coverage from a Customer who has availed of insurance now.

No.  You can only avail of BPP at the same time that you apply for your loan.

BPP is offered through our POS and Cross-sell Channels when you avail of your loan.  Our Sales Agent will be helping you with your loan application to enroll you in BPP.

Coverage starts once your loan is approved and will end as soon as the loan term ends, or when the account is written-off or cancelled.

For special cases, coverage will end 1 month after the loan is paid in full before its term ends, on the date of a customer’s death or when she turns 69 years old. That’s why customers who will reach 69 years old during their loan term are no longer recommended to avail of BPP.

Yes, you’ll have the option to cancel your coverage anytime during your loan term.
Once your application is approved, you will receive an email containing your Confirmation of Cover with your contract that contains the details of your coverage.
There are no additional fees. You just have to pay for the premium for your coverage which is computed as part of the monthly installment of your loan or is at 0.5% if your loan amount is less than or equal to Php25,000 and 0.3% if your loan amount is greater than Php25,000.
Yes. We encourage your beneficiary or representative to submit all the requirements to Home Credit so that we can initiate filing of the claim.

c.      Police Certification whether the insured was wearing helmet at the time of accident (for motorcycle related)

d.      Incident Report signed by the employer or employer’s authorized signatory (for work-related accidents)

e.      Incident Report signed by [who] (for other form of accidents such as i.e fall, etc.)

Yes, except if it is specified in the list of requirements that only photocopies are needed.

No. We will only be accepting original hard copies of the documents as specified in the list of requirements.

No. A valid claim can only be filed if the event that results in that claim happens during the term of the loan.

No. While we allow you to send the requirements to us in parts, we will only be able to initiate your claim request once all requirements have been submitted. Note that Claim requests with incomplete requirements shall only be rejected by the insurance provider.

Once Home Credit receives your complete documentary requirements, it will take a maximum of 20 working days for the claim to be processed to give time for our insurance provider to review and approve the request.

The insurance provider checks if the customer or beneficiary is eligible for the claim based and validates the authenticity of the documents provided. Sometimes, additional documents may be asked to support the claim.
How will I know if there are additional documents that I need to submit for a claim? Home Credit will call the claimant to inform if there are additional documents needed to process a claim.

Once the claim is approved, a check payable to the beneficiary will be prepared by our insurance provider and delivered to the beneficiary’s registered delivery address.

Only the beneficiary is allowed to receive the proceeds of the claim.  In case the beneficiary is not available to receive the check, she may leave a signed authorization letter and a copy of her valid ID.  The authorized representative should also be able to present a valid ID.

No. The proceeds of the claim is only issued in check.

No. Only the beneficiary can be the payee of the check.

Beneficiaries with no bank accounts may request for special arrangements directly with the insurance provider.
