HCPay QR (Quick Response) is a contactless method of payment which is performed by scanning QR code, a 2D barcode readable by our My Home Credit App. It is a safe and convenient way to pay for your transactions.

Who are eligible to use HCPay QR?

HCPay QR is available to any users with a registered account in My Home Credit App. Payment methods accessible may vary from Home Credit Card, Home Credit Wallet, Home Credit Qwarta and cash.

What are the benefits of using HCPay QR?

HCPay QR eliminates any need for physical cards or cash. You only need to bring your smartphone or tablet with the downloaded My Home Credit App and connect it to the internet to scan a QR code and pay your transaction.
Also, a cashless payment helps to ensure a safe and convenient environment for both you and the merchant, as it helps to maintain social distancing.

Is HCPay QR safe and legitimate?

Yes, HCPay QR is both safe and legitimate!
To ensure this, the app will ask for your 4-digit PIN before confirming payment for your transaction. Once successful, you will get a receipt for your record keeping.

What are the security features of HCPay QR?

My Home Credit App is using latest technologies to protect your security. Data are stored in secured servers, and payments are encrypted with industry-standard technology.
In addition, there are several security features in place for you:
  • Every login to My Home Credit App requires a PIN. It is strongly recommended that you keep this information to yourself to protect you from fraud and/or identity theft.

What do I need to do to start using HCPay QR?

To start using HCPay QR for your purchases or claiming Smile Rewards discounts, you will need to download and register an account in our My Home Credit App.
This registration process includes submitting necessary documentation and agreeing to Home Credit’s terms and conditions.

What are the personal information that will be required from me during the registration?

Once you agree to Home Credit’s data privacy and confidentiality agreement, basic personal information such as your full name, address, date and place of birth, employment history, mobile phone number and email address will be required from your end.

Do I need to enroll my Home Credit Card to My Home Credit App?

Your Home Credit Card account will automatically be enrolled to My Home Credit App, so you wouldn't need to manually do this from your end. Simply ensure that you have the latest version of My Home Credit App to avoid any further concerns.

When choosing a payment method in the 'Review Payment' screen, you will be able to see your remaining balance for each option accessible to you.
Another alternative is by redirecting to the Home Credit Card, Qwarta or Wallet dashboard which also includes information such as your available credit limit, list of transactions, etc.

How do I know if the payment transaction was successful?

In your My Home Credit App, the 'Transaction Complete' screen will appear after you have confirmed your payment. This may serve as your receipt for transaction.
In addition, you may check your transaction history and account balance in the Home Credit Card, Qwarta or Wallet dashboard.

I didn't see any 'Transaction Complete' screen. How can I confirm if the transaction was successful?

You may confirm with the partner store if the payment went through. You may also check your transaction history and account balance in the Home Credit Card, Qwarta or Wallet dashboard.
If the payment was unsuccessful, you may still try using your Home Credit Card through our POS terminal.

How do I cancel a transaction?

You can always cancel a transaction up until the 'Review Payment' screen before making any payment confirmation. To do this, simply tap on the 'Cancel' button on the upper-left corner of the app.

What if a QR code is not readable?

You may ask one of the retail staff for assistance. Otherwise, you may use your Home Credit Card through POS terminal.

How can I claim Smile Rewards discounts through HCPay QR?

First, make sure that your My Home Credit App has an up-to-date version. In the app, simply follow the steps below:

How long does it take to process or settle a dispute request?

Resolution time depends on the concern. However, we are committed to resolving your claim as fast as we can and not exceeding 30 days.

Make sure that the receipient's number in the push notification confirmation is correct. If the load you purchased is not received within one hour and the amount was already taken out of your account, send an to e-mail to info@homecredit.ph with a screenshot of the transaction receipt or proof of purchase, transaction number, and date and time of purchase.

What are the possible reasons why my purchase will not go through?

Your purchase may not go through if your Home Credit Card and Home Credit Pay Wallet has insufficient balance.

If the mobile number you entered does not exist or is invalid, the load transfer will not push through. If the mobile number you entered is active, the load will be transferred to the active number and your accout will be charged for that request.
