QR (Quick Response) payment is a contactless method of payment  which is performed by scanning the QR code, a 2D barcode readable by smartphones. It is a safe and convenient way to pay through My Home Credit app.
Cashless transactions via QR is safe because you don’t have to bring cash all the time, and you also don’t need to worry about loose change.
This is available to Home Credit Card clients for now with registered account in My Home Credit app.
To purchase using QR code, simply follow the steps below:
  1. Tap the Scan icon in My Credit Card dashboard of your My Home Credit app
  2. Scan the partner store’s QR code
  3. Input the amount
  4. Click ‘Pay’
  5. Check the transaction details
  6. Click “Confirm Payment”
  7. Enter 4-digit PIN of your My Home Credit App for security check
  8. Present the transaction complete message to partner store.
Just make sure that your My Home Credit app version is up-to-date and you have a Home Credit  Card. What you need to do is:
  1. Tap the Scan icon in My Credit Card dashboard of your My Home Credit app
  2. Scan the partner store’s QR code
  3. Input the amount

There is no limit in making payments when using QR so long as it’s within your Home Credit Card’s available credit limit.
Making payment using the QR Code is no different than using cash. You can guarantee this because you will get a receipt when the transaction is successful and to be secured, we are asking for your My Home Credit app 4-digit PIN before confirming your payment.

There is no need to enroll your Home Credit Card account to your My Home Credit app because it automatically happens. Just make sure that you have the latest version of My Home Credit app to avoid any inconveniences.  
The reason why your payment gets rejected because there is no sufficient credit limit left on your account but don’t worry you can still pay it using other options.
If it happens, check with the partner store if the payment went through. If they can confirm the transaction, then there’s no need to worry.  If it didn’t, you can still try using your Home Credit Card through POS terminal.

You can pay for your bills, prepaid load purchases and other online purchases.

You can chose to pay using your Home Credit Card and Home Credit Pay Wallet.

It’s free if you use your Home Credit Card or your Home Credit Pay Wallet.

Buy Load is a new feature availabe in My Home Credit app that lets you buy prepaid mobile loads, utility loads and other prepaid products.

All Home Credit customers with a registered account in My Home Credit app can use the Buy Load feature provided they have a Home Credit Card or Home Credit Pay Wallet.

You can purchase prepaid load by using your most updated version of My Home Credit app and follow these easy steps:

1. Click the menu bar at the upper left side of your My Home Credit app.

2. Press Goods and Services then select telco brand under Mobile section or utility prepaid under Others section.

3. Choose the load variant you want to purchase and enter the recepient’s mobile number. You may even go to your contact adress book to select a recipient from your mobile phone.

4. Select your preferred payment method from the confirmation screen and Confirm Payment.

The transaction complete receipt will be available once purchase is successful.

You must have the most updated version of My Home Credit app and your Home Credit Card and Home Credit Pay Wallet must have sufficient balance to pay for your purchase.

You will see the transaction receipt and receive a push notification right after the successful transaction. You may also check the details of your transaction in My Credit Account or Wallet dashboard in My Home Credit app of whichever payment source you have used.

There is no processing fee when you buy load in My Home Credit app instead you’ll get a 5% discount for every purchase transaction.

Make sure that the receipient’s number in the push notification confirmation is correct. If the load you purchased is not received within one hour and the amount was already taken out of your account, send an to e-mail to info@homecredit.ph with a screenshot of the transaction receipt or proof of purchase, transaction number, and date and time of purchase.

Your purchase may not go through if your Home Credit Card and Home Credit Pay Wallet has insufficient balance.

You may add cash to your Home Credit Pay Wallet before you try again or choose another mode of payment that has sufficient balance.

In case you are unable to transfer load or experience a technical issue, you may try again making sure to enter the required details correctly. Send an email to info@homecredit.ph with a screenshot of the error if the error persists.

If the mobile number you entered does not exist or is invalid, the load transfer will not push through. If the mobile number you entered is active, the load will be transferred to the active number and your accout will be charged for that request.

Pay Bill is a new feature availabe in My Home Credit app that lets you pay for your bills with over 200 billing partners.

All Home Credit customers with a registered account in the My Home Credit app can use the Pay Bill feature provided they have a Home Credit Card and a Home Credit Pay Wallet.

Make sure to update your My Home Credit app to the latest version and simply follow these easy steps:

1. Go to the menu bar at the upper left side of your My Home Credit app.

2. Tap Pay Bills then select the category of the billing partner you want to pay.

3. Enter your billing details (i.e. account name, account number and the amount to pay).

4. Choose the payment method you want to use and confirm your payment details.

5. A receipt will pop-up once your payment is successful.

Download or update to the latest version of the My Home Credit app. Make sure that your Home Credit Card or Home Credit Pay Wallet has sufficient balance to cover your bill. Lastly, be ready with the billing details.

You will see the transaction receipt right after your successful transaction and receive a push or email notification. The details of your transaction will also be available in your My Credit Account and/or Wallet dashboards, depending on the payment source you have used.

It’s free if you use your Home Credit Card or your Home Credit Pay Wallet.

Payments may not push through possibly because the balance on your payment option is insufficient or there is an issue with the billing information provided. If you feel you have this covered, feel free to send an e-mail to info@homecredit.ph for further assistance.

If your payment does not push through because there is insufficient balance on your payment option, you may add cash to your wallet account or choose a different payment option that can cover the amount you are paying for.

However, if the amount was deducted from your selected payment option and you still receive an error message, please send an e-mail to info@homecredit.ph for proper resolution and include the transaction reference number and a screenshot of the error message.
