Home Credit Philippines joins #PridePH March 2023

Home Credit Philippines joined over 100,000 marchers at the #LoveLaban Pride Festival last June 24, 2023 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.

Dubbed as the biggest Pride celebration in Southeast Asia, the event, organized by Pride PH and the Quezon City local government, gathered different LGBTQ+ communities, civil society organizations, and corporate DEI partners to celebrate pride, promote greater visibility for the cause, and call for equality.

This year, Home Credit Philippines' participation was organized by its recently founded Pride Club— a collective of LGBTQ+ identifying employees and allies tasked to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and beyond.

Pride starts at Home Credit

Quezon City, Philippines—Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) made a significant mark in its LBGBTQ+ advocacy as it participated in the highly celebrated #PridePH Pride Festival at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. Led by its recently founded Home Credit Pride Club, HCPH employees marched in solidarity with various LGBTQ+ communities and allies in what has been called the biggest Pride event in Southeast Asia to date, gathering over 100,000 attendees.

The event, organized by Pride Ph and the Quezon City local government, served as a platform to unite LGBTQ+ communities, civil society organizations, and corporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) partners to celebrate pride, promote greater visibility for the cause, and call for equality. Home Credit has been committed to giving equal opportunity and has positioned itself as a staunch supporter of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Home Credit Philippines at Gawad Kalinga Bulacan

Rodriguez, Rizal Philippines— Millions of students in different parts of the Philippines have now returned to in-person classes. To support the next generation of Filipinos, the facilities and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) teams of Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) joined the Brigada Eskwela program of Geronimo Elementary School in Rodriguez Rizal last August 2023.

As part of its Alagang Home Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the HCPH's facilities team helped in repainting and repairing the facilities of the school, while the OSH team conducted a medical mission and handed out free vitamins to the students.

Meanwhile, HCPH's Public Relations team conducted its Wais sa Home financial literacy program for the parents and teachers of the said school.

These efforts align with the company’s mission to empower Filipinos by giving back to the community.

Home Credit Philippines at Gawad Kalinga Bulacan

Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) understands the importance of environmental conservation and is committed to impact the planet positively. Last March 24, 2023, Gawad Kalinga's Enchanted Farm in Angat, Bulacan was visited by Home Credit Philippines to learn more about their social impact and nation-building programs. The HCPH facilities team planted vegetables on their community farm and visited different social enterprises. Additionally, Financial Literacy and Consumer Education programs for the members of the community were also conducted.
