Frequently Asked Questions

All Home Credit customers with an existing account or loan can enroll to auto debit payments thru the latest version of the My Home Credit app (v8.15). You just need to register your account(s) and your local debit card with a VISA or a Mastercard logo.

Setting up auto debit payments via the My Home Credit app is easy! Just make sure your app version is 8.15 and up.

  1. Click the “Pay” button in your My Account dashboard.
  2. Select “Auto Debit Arrangement” and tap “Set up now”
  3. Select Debit Cards Auto Debit under “What accounts to enroll”
  4. Click Add Card. Read the instructions on how auto debit works and the terms and conditions, and tap “Continue” if you agree to what you have read and proceed to next steps.
  5. Enter card details then click “Save”
  6. Enter the OTP received via SMS
  7. Check all the details are accurate, then press “Confirm and Enroll”.
  8. You will see a confirmation message once your enrollment is successful, or a different message if it isn’t.

All you need is to download the latest version of the app (v8.15 and up) and be ready with the details of your local VISA/Mastercard debit card.

No, only debit cards can be enrolled to auto debit payments. If you enroll your credit card to auto debit payments, your details will be saved but auto debit will not push through.

You will see a confirmation message as soon as you’ve completed the steps.

Either you have entered incorrect details, or you used a debit card that isn’t a VISA or a Mastercard.

We will not charge a processing fee of 3.8% for all customers who will set-up Auto-Debit Arrangement in HC App until June 30, 2021. After June 30, 2021, applicable fees will be charges on client’s account: 3.8% of the gross transaction amount

If enrollment was done before the recommended due date, debiting will take effect immediately.
Example:
Due Date: September 24, 2020
Recommended Due Date: September 21, 2020
Enrollment date: September 20, 2020
Debiting date: September 21, 2020

If enrollment was done on or after the recommended due date, debiting will take effect on the next recommended payment date.
Example:
Due Date: September 24, 2020
Recommended Due Date: September 21, 2020
Enrollment date: September 21, 2020 – October 20, 2020
Debiting date: October 21, 2020

Payments will reflect on your account real-time. You will receive an SMS notification once your payment has been posted on our system and in your My Home Credit App. If it is still not showing by then, you may email us your 10-digit Loan Account No. and loan account name to info@homecredit.ph for us to further investigate your concern.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription to Auto Debit Arrangement given that you atleast have 2 monthly installment remaining. You also need to request at least a day before your recommended payment date via our Customer Service team.

If request was made before the recommended due date, cancellation will take effect immediately.

Cancellation request date: September 20, 2020
